Writers Give Support to Local 4948 Library Workers

The union started a petition with the writing community a week ago. We are pleased to report that we have enlisted the support of an impressive number of writers. The signatories include young writers, established writers, creative writers, academic writers, scholarly writers. The intellectual community of Toronto and beyond (some of these writers have forwarded the petition to their friends, so that we have signatures from writers across Canada) wholeheartedly supports the issues the union is putting forward in this round of bargaining.
