The Bargaining Committee is happy to announce that a tentative deal has been reached with the Toronto Public Library Board. The Bargaining Committee recommends that you come out and support this agreement.
The tentative agreement reached by Local 4948 and the Toronto Public Library Board on November 4 must be ratified by the union membership. All union members are eligible to vote. (The employer, the Toronto Public Library Board, must also ratify the agreement at a separate meeting).
Please find below the dates, times, and locations where union members can vote. The Bargaining Committee will be holding presentations on the memorandum of settlement at these voting locations. (details of the settlement and copies of the agreement will only be made available at the voting locations on the days of the vote).
Our best efforts have been made to ensure a variety of voting locations - all were subject to availability on short notice.
Please make sure you bring a pay stub or other identification with you when you come to vote.
