York Woods District Shop Steward Election 2010

Staff currently working in the York Woods District are eligible to vote for two of the following three nominees for the position of York Woods District union shop steward. The two elected stewards would be responsible for York Woods, Downsview, and Black Creek.

•  Voting is to be done before work or during breaks.

•  Voting may only be done in person. There are no advance or proxy votes.

•  Please bring a piece of identification with you to the polls.

•  Candidates may post campaign material on union bulletin boards.

• Groupwise may not be used by candidates or supporters for campaign purposes.

• Voters must select two candidates – if only one candidate is selected, the ballot will be considered spoiled.

• Eligible voters must be bargaining unit members currently working in one of the following three branches: York Woods, Black Creek, Downsview excluding Facilities and City Wide Services
