This is not just an information session – there will be an opportunity for small group discussions. The Union will have representatives facilitating some of the focus group discussion.
We want to hear your views on the current structure of children’s services, training and development, and collection management.
We want to hear what you think the role of children’s services should be. Many members over the years have brought this issue forward and we hope that this first discussion forum begins the dialogue.
In addition to the announced presenters, Local 4948 President Maureen O’Reilly will speak to the importance of children’s services as a career path (see Letter of Understanding #17 in 2009-2011 Collective Agreement)
