The Citizens of Toronto Join Our Fight - Updated

The Union's campaign to protect our public libraries and its workers is moving full steam ahead. Read the article in today's Star and here on Citytv.
 
Over 14,000 people have signed the online petition and the numbers are still growing.  President Maureen O'Reilly is doing print and radio interviews. Important Dates: 
  • Tuesday, July 26  - The Toronto Public Library Board meets to address KPMG Report. This meeting is open to the public.  It is at the Toronto Reference Library in the Boardroom at 5:00 p.m. If you can't attend because you are working, send a friend or family member to show support.  For details and copies of the report, click here.
  • Tuesday, August 2 - Special Membership Meeting at the North York Central Library in the Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. to present an update on the Union's campaign and to address the issues in the KPMG report.

Please keep forwarding the link at OurPublicLibrary.to to family, co-workers, and friends and encourage them to speak out to their local councillor to do the right thing when it comes to voting on these issues that will affect our great city.
