Labour Day Parade: Monday, September 5.
Toronto Public Library Workers Union Local 4948 members, family and friends are invited! Wristbands for free entrance to the CNE and union apparel will be available at the meeting place just prior to the parade for those who march with us.
The parade starts at Queen and University, however, the TPLWU library workers normally end up starting at University and Armoury Street (North of Queen) on the West side.
We are meeting at 9:00 am. The parade is scheduled to start at 9:30 am.
The parade route is the same as in previous years - University - Queen - Dufferin ending at the CNE.
Look for our flatbed truck with Eagleheart, aboriginal drummers, who will be joining us this year.
