This report from the City Manager, Joseph Pennachetti, based on the KPMG report, is going to the City Executive Committee on Monday, September 19.
What comes out of that meeting will go to the full City Council on September 26 and 27.
Among the long list of recommended cuts:
k. Toronto Public Library: Consider opportunities to reduce services (hours and
days of operation);
l. Toronto Public Library: Consider rationalizing the footprint of libraries to
reduce service levels, closing some branches;
