Arrangements are now in place for anyone wishing to make a donation to the Brian Cochrane Union Education Fund. This Fund has been established in memory of former TCEU Local 416 President Brian Cochrane who passed away on November 15, 2009. Initially, the Fund will be used to further union education and leadership training for members of Toronto Public Library Workers Union, Local 4948 (CUPE). Toronto Public Library workers were members of Local 416 throughout the years of Brian’s presidency.
