September 19 All-Nighter at City Hall

Local 4948 President Maureen O'Reilly makes a deputation at the September 19 City Executive Committee meeting. Speaking with her are Mark Battenberg and Melissa Cederqvist, two of the winners of the "My Library Matters" contest.

Again, it was inspiring to see the overwhelming number of Torontonians who endured the long hours to speak out against the cuts proposed by Ford and the City Manager.

A few councillors from the Executive Committee continued to display their arrogance with regard to these proposed cuts and the process. 

We urge all councillors to listen to what the people of Toronto told you yesterday (and today).
