Thanks to all the members who entered our annual Union Summer Pop Quiz contest. We compiled a poster of photographs of 20 famous Torontonians and challenged our members to identify them correctly.
The Union received many entries and we were heartened by the high level of correct answers - library workers certainly know their Toronto icons. And when you didn't know we appreciated your best attempts to guess.
Cory Doctorow proved the most difficult for most members to identify: guesses ranged from Robert Sawyer, Steve Jobs, Alan from e-Services, and the Zodiac Killer.

6. Judy Fong Bates (1949 - ) author. This year's One Book Community Read selection.

8. June Callwood (1924 - 2007) journalist, author, activist
9. Carole Pope (1950 - ) rock singer/songwriter
10. Glenn Gould (1932 - 1982) classical pianist

13. Rita Cox, librarian, story-teller, author and member of the Order of Canada
