The budget proposals that will be debated by the Board on November 21, 2011 include cutting 19,444 service hours (the equivalent of over 8 neighbourhood branches) and 106,000 new items for library collections. It is important that your family, friends and neighbours share their views on the proposed budget reductions in the next 2 weeks

The Library is doing a survey to assess the impact of possible reductions in the budget. For the survey, click here. The results of the survey will be provided to the Board to inform their decision-making on the budget.
